Are you afraid?
If we think about it honestly, I think most of us will admit to occasionally sensing fear about something...fear of the future, fear for our children, fear for our loved ones. This page was created shortly after 9/11. If we allow ourselves to fear what the terrorists have done and are doing, we are making them successful. No American wants to make them feel successful even for a moment!!!! So this is my challenge... to myself and each 4 Seests in Paradise reader:

FEAR NONE BUT GOD

The reason I chose this particular background is that I wanted the reminder that Jesus has taken the sting of death away!!!!

"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
I Corinthians 15:55 & 56

As a Christian, the worst anyone can do to me is send me to Heaven. Do you have this assurance? You will notice that these beautiful promises are for those who fear God. Those of us who know God the Son, Jesus Christ, as our personal Saviour from sin.

I hope that the following verses will be a blessing to you. They are all taken from the book of Psalms.

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

~Psalm 19:7-10~

Psalm 66:16 Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27:3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

Psalm 56:4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

Fear the LORD:

Psalm 96:9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

Psalm 31:19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

Psalm 33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

Psalm 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

Psalm 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Psalm 34:9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

Psalm 46:2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Psalm 61:5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

Psalm 64:1 Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

Psalm 85:9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

Psalm 103:11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

Psalm 103:13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

Psalm 103:17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

Psalm 111:5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Psalm 115:11 Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

Psalm 115:13 He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.

Psalm 118:4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

Psalm 119:63 I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

Psalm 119:74 They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.

Psalm 145:19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

Psalm 147:11 The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

Again as a Christian, the worst anyone can do to me is send me to Heaven. Do you have this assurance? Remember, these beautiful promises are for them who fear God. Those of us who know God the Son, Jesus Christ, as our personal Saviour from sin.

If you selected the music option at the top of the page,
the music playing the background is called "How Can I Fear?"
by Ron Hamilton.
I hope these words will be a blessing to you *_*

When shadows fall and the night covers all
There are things that my eyes cannot see.
I never fear, for the Saviour is near.
My LORD abides with me!

How can I fear? Jesus is near!
He ever watches over me!
Worries all cease; He gives me peace.
How can I fear with Jesus?

When I'm alone and I face the unknown
And I fear what the future may be,
I can depend on the strength of my Friend!
He walks along with me.

How can I fear? Jesus is near!
He ever watches over me!
Worries all cease; He gives me peace.
How can I fear with Jesus?

Jesus is King! He controls everything!
He is with me each night and each day.
I trust my soul to the Saviour's control;
He drives all fear away!

How can I fear? Jesus is near!
He ever watches over me!
Worries all cease; He gives me peace.
How can I fear with Jesus?

PLEASE, if you do not know Jesus Christ as your Saviour, repent of your sin and trust Him TODAY! If you don't know how, please visit God's Plan of Salvation, then you, too, will "Fear None but GOD"!!
